Arena Demotion Logic
Battle Arena Selection: Players don't have the choice to select their battle arena. Instead, they're automatically placed in the arena corresponding to their current island's level.
Criteria for Demotion: A player will be relegated to a lower-level island if:
Their $AFC balance drops below the threshold needed for their current highest-level island. This threshold is typically five times the arena's entry fee, with the exception being the level 1 arena, which has 1 $AFC entry fee.
Post-demotion, playersโ trophies will adjust down to the maximum count for that lower-level island.
Demotion Example: Joe Blogg's Arena Experience
Joe Blogg, an enthusiastic Army of Tactics player, aims to unlock the Arena to delve into the core gameplay of Arena Duel.
To unlock the Arena, Joe must:
Achieve the necessary trophy count.
Complete specific in-game tasks.
Maintain a minimum $AFC balance.
It's essential for Joe to note that if his $AFC count falls below the needed amount for his current highest-level island (typically five times the entry fee), he risks being demoted. Therefore, to sustain his position in the top-tier arenas, Joe needs to keep a healthy $AFC balance.
Resource Production and Trading
Players can produce resources on different islands, which are used to complete orders and earn $AFC that can be used to upgrade units.
Local Market
Local Market is an intelligent resource acquisition building, the system will refresh the orders in the Local Market at regular intervals. In the Local Market, computer-controlled characters (called NPCs) will list what they want to buy. Players can fulfil these orders by giving the required items. In return, they'll get $AFC and other in-game items. To sell items, players need medals and resources, which they can earn by winning battles and producing on the island.
As players advance, the items NPCs ask for will be more varied, but the rewards for trading will also be better.
